Stamps that fill themselves

A digital stamp card, membership points and offers, running inside the same app the customer already opened to get their receipt. No paper card to lose, no second scan at the counter, and one stamp program on the free plan.

The problem with the card in the wallet

A paper stamp card asks a lot of a customer for a free coffee. They have to be given one, remember to carry it, produce it before you ring up the sale, and not put it through the wash. Most of them are lost within a fortnight, which is why a shop can hand out five hundred cards and see forty come back.

The digital versions mostly move that burden rather than removing it. The customer still has to open a second app, or show a second code, or hand over a phone number, after they have already paid. At a busy counter with a queue behind them, that is the moment loyalty quietly stops happening.

Why this one works differently

In Loop CheckOut the stamp comes off the receipt. The customer shows their Loop barcode once, before the sale closes — the same scan that sends them their itemised receipt — and the stamp lands at the same time. There is no second scan, no separate app, and nothing extra for the cashier to remember during a rush.

It also means the loyalty record and the purchase record are the same record. You are not guessing which of your stamps corresponds to which sale, because the stamp is the sale.

The My Loyalty Cards screen in Loop CheckOut: a Cinnamon Table card at 3 of 3 stamps with a Free Dessert reward marked READY, and a Brewhaus Coffee card at 3 of 10 stamps towards a free coffee. The Memberships screen in Loop CheckOut showing a Cinnamon Table balance of 2,849 points, the conversion rate, an expiry date, a Tiramisu reward that can be redeemed for 800 points, and recent points activity.
Left: stamp cards, filled from the receipt. Right: points, what they convert to, and when they expire.

Stamp cards

Buy nine, get the tenth. Fills automatically from the receipt, with the reward claimable in the customer's app. One program on Starter and Growth, unlimited on Pro and Priority.

Membership points

Points that accumulate across visits, convert to a reward, and show the customer their balance and its expiry. Points, tiers and bonus multipliers start on Pro.

Offers

A claimable deal that appears in the app of a customer who already shops with you, with a code to show at the counter. Offers start on Growth, and marketing campaigns on Pro.

From a stranger to a regular

The awkward part of loyalty is the first visit, when you know nothing about the person paying. A guest receipt covers it: they get their itemised receipt from a link or an on-screen code with nothing installed, and if they later join, the shop is already familiar. On Pro and above, customer profiles turn that history into something you can actually act on — who is due back, who has not been in for a month, what they usually order.

What it costs

PlanLoyalty you getPrice
StarterOne stamp programFree forever
GrowthOne stamp program, plus offers to the marketplaceHK$267/mo billed annually
ProUnlimited stamp programs, membership points, tiers, bonus multipliers, marketing campaigns and customer profilesHK$458/mo billed annually
PriorityEverything in Pro, with location-aware targeting and instant campaign deliveryHK$797/mo billed annually

There is no commission on ordinary sales, and none on stamps or points. The only commission applies to marketing campaigns on Pro and Priority, charged on a sale a customer completed after redeeming one of your offers — a send that does not convert costs nothing. It starts at 9% and steps down to 5% as redeemed volume grows through the year. The full scale is on the pricing page.

What to check before choosing a loyalty platform

Loyalty sits on top of the counter rather than beside it, so it is worth reading the POS system page too — the stamp card only fills itself because the receipt is digital in the first place.
